Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how CrapApp ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Service. By checking the agreement box and creating an account, you acknowledge this Policy. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection and privacy laws.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

2. Photograph & Content Policy

CrapApp is a restroom-cleanliness service, and photographs must depict only restroom facilities. You must not submit photographs that contain any human being, human face, or body part; that contain any animal; or that are obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise indecent.

Our intent is to keep the Service safe and free from the photographing of human beings and animals alike. Submitted images are automatically screened by an AI system that rejects images containing people. Violations of this policy may be reported to law enforcement and prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service — including displaying restroom locations and AI-generated cleanliness scores, verifying on-site submissions, enforcing our Terms, and responding to user reports.

4. Data Ownership & Confidentiality

All data and content collected through the Service are owned by CrapApp and are held confidentially by CrapApp. We treat collected data as confidential and limit access to it to those who need it to operate the Service.

5. Data Retention

Consistent with the Service’s design, only the most recent photograph and score for each location are retained and displayed; prior photographs are overwritten and removed. Account information is retained while your account remains active and as required by law.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only: (a) with service providers that help us operate the Service under confidentiality obligations; (b) to comply with applicable law, legal process, or lawful government requests; or (c) to protect the rights, safety, and property of CrapApp, our users, or the public.

7. Legal Compliance

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable standard privacy and data-protection laws and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices & Rights

Subject to applicable law and to CrapApp’s ownership of collected content, you may request access to or deletion of your account information by emailing admin@crapapp.ai, using the in-app “Delete my account” option, or contacting us through the Service. You may disable location access in your device settings, though doing so will limit core features of the Service.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
